Ask any fan of Dabel Brothers Productions which comic book artist they most associate with the Dabels' books, and he or she is likely to utter the same name: Brett Booth.
From his early days in the comic book industry drawing Wildstorm's Backlash to his wonderful work on recent Dabel Brothers books like The Burning Man and Magician: Apprentice, artist and illustrator Brett Booth has long been a fan-favorite in the comic book industry, with tens of thousands of fans around the world. Notoriously reclusive, Booth rarely attends conventions or fan events, despite the fact that he provides the visual punch behind the sold-out success story from Dabel Brothers Production and Marvel Comics, Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures.
And now, to help promote the Anita Blake series and to give back to the fans who have kept his name alive in a very competitive industry, Brett Booth has agreed to appear at WizardWorld LA on March 16th and 17th to sit in on a panel with Marvel Comics, sign copies of his books for fans, and offer fans a rare opportunity to purchase an original sketch at the convention.
"We've been friends with Brett for years, but we've always had trouble talking him into attending a convention, despite the fact that fans are always begging us to bring him," laughed Les Dabel, Vice President of Dabel Brothers Productions. "We're thrilled that he's agreed to come and help promote the Anita Blake series just as it begins to achieve critical mass, and we're sure that Brett's fans will be as excited as we are to see him attend this year's first WizardWorld convention!"
The Dabel Brothers will announce details for the signings, sketch times, and panel as soon as they are made available. For more information on Dabel Brothers Productions, please visit http://www.dabelbrothers.com and http://www.marvel.com.
